You could say that Hobie has made a mix of the acclaimed Pro Angler and Outback and created the Compass. For a long time there has been demand for a slightly simpler and cheaper Hobie kayak that is operated with Mirage Drive and finally it is here.
Equipped with their "Breathable mesh Seat", the Hobie Mirage Compass offers maximum stability in a large "cockpit" with a large flat area in front of the seat to create good standing opportunities. With a sharp turning radius similar to the Pro Angler with a rudder mounted in the hull, it fits in narrow areas such as large open water. It comes equipped with cast-in rod holders for fishing, H-Track for mounting accessories such as sonar or other H-Track accessories and the fantastic Lowrance ® Ready system for mounting a transducer in the hull.
