The B&G Vulcan 9 FS offers dedicated sailing features for both cruising and racing. With award-winning sailing functions, you can get an overview of important sailing data on one screen or integrate it into maps for the ultimate navigation view. By adding sailing instruments and sensors, you can enable B&G SailSteer, which gives you an intuitive graphical display of boat speed, wind data, heading, tide, wind shift sectors and laylines. The Volcano makes it easy to add waypoints or plot a course, and with B&G SailingTime you can get estimated arrival times based on sailing course and tidal effects.

Ease of integration is another advantage of the B&G Vulcan 9 FS. Leveraging the standardized NMEA 2000 network, you can expand your system by adding sail instruments, sensors, autopilot, Broadband Radar, ForwardScan and SonicHub. Create a custom system that fits your needs and enhances your sport fishing experience.

The Vulcan can also be used as a secondary autopilot control, giving you easy access to Intelligent Sail Steering, manual and automatic steering and Smart Maneuver functionality. With B&G Broadband 3G or 4G Radar integrated, you can keep an eye on your surroundings and identify and track targets up to 36 nautical miles away, giving you an advantage during your fishing trip.

With the addition of a ForwardScan transducer, you can also explore what lies underwater and get information about nearby depths. It's perfect for exploring poorly charted or unknown waterways and finding the best fishing spots.

The B&G Vulcan 9 FS has built-in Wi-Fi, giving you easy access to select online services, including PredictWind weather forecasts and routing, via marine hotspots or your smartphone. You can also use Wi-Fi to mirror the screen of your Vulcan 9 to a compatible smartphone or tablet, giving you a cost-effective dual-station solution that you can use anywhere on board.
