Full network sharing
Thanks to Garmin marine network support, you can share sonar, charts, user data, radome or open radar, IP cameras and Panoptix™ sonar between multiple devices. Includes support for NMEA 2000 network connectivity and NMEA 0183 for autopilots, digital switching, FUSION-Link, VHF, AIS and other sensors.
Built-in ANT® connection
Get built-in wireless ANT connectivity to the quatix® marine watch, Garmin Nautix™ virtual display, gWind™ 2 wireless transducer, GNX™ Wind instrument and wireless remote controls.
Built-in sonar functions
You get access to really great sonar features. All you need to add is donors. Comes with built-in Garmin 1 kW CHIRP sonar, CHIRP ClearVü and CHIRP SideVü sonar. It also handles Panoptix, premium sonar modules from Garmin and a wide range of transducers (sold separately).
Network combinations can share data from internal sonar with other devices on the network. You can also choose which information to overlay on the sonar screen, such as radar, current time, or GPS speed.
Course and position are updated 10 times per second
Fast and responsive built-in 10 Hz GPS and GLONASS receiver updates your position and heading 10 times per second to make on-screen movement more coherent. It is quick and easy to save up to 5,000 waypoints and to find your way back to them.

Two SD™ card slots provide expandable memory for purchasing more charts, such as BlueChart® g2 HD or BlueChart® g2 Vision® HD, which provide Garmin-patented automatic guidance¹ and other great features.
Create your own HD maps with Quickdraw Contours
Create custom HD fishing charts on screen with 30cm contours. Customize them according to your needs. The maps are yours - you own them. Keep your data to yourself or share it with the Quickdraw group on Garmin Connect™.
Built-in SailAssist functions
To give you the wind-maximizing competitive advantage, your chartplotter features a pre-race guidance page that displays your virtual starting line along with data fields that show laylines, time to burn before the start, and a race timer that can sync between all Garmin GPS products on your network. It includes sailing functions such as improved wind rose, course and course over baselines, bearing and drift, data on actual and apparent wind and more.
Transfers of GPX waypoints
If you have waypoints, tracks, or frequently used routes saved on another manufacturer's GPS product—or on a Garmin handheld device—it's easy to transfer those items to your new Garmin chartplotter via the industry-standard GPX software format.
