Tranx is a very strong, durable and reliable reel suitable for both fresh and salt water. This type of reel is often used when fishing with heavy and large baits for large fish. Tranx is perfect for freshwater pike fishing with heavy baits such as jerkbaits, large crankbaits and spinnerbaits with weights well over 100 grams. For saltwater, the Tranx can be used to baitcast the same type of lures, but will be more popular for jigging or lifebait purposes for large and hard-fighting saltwater fish.
