In 1952, Warren "Pete" Henning came home from a fishing trip with an overwhelming desire to improve his bait boxes. Tired of large metal boxes that rusted immediately, the plan was a lighter and more durable material that would withstand even the saltiest of water! His design replaced metal with plastic, became lighter yet very durable. You also got the function of being able to design your storage a little as you want!
