The new, larger boat Ruby XL from GUMOTEX is 17 cm wider than the original version, while at the same time it has excellent driving characteristics. It can be used with oars, with paddles like a canoe or with a motor. They have also updated the mount on the transom, which is now much more robust and can be equipped with a motor with a maximum power of up to 5 hp = 3.7 kW. Ruby XL is suitable for leisure trips at sea or just for trips on lakes and calmer waterways. With canoe paddles, without motor and oars, this boat can also be used for simpler rafting.

The Ruby XL has integrated packing ropes for easy attachment of all types of luggage, safety lines around the hull, battery mount, removable transom and plywood seats. The hull is equipped with a pressure relief valve. It includes a repair kit and a 135 liter waterproof bag for easy transport.

The motor used must have a short shaft and a maximum weight of 28 kg .
