Durable and robust in all terrains
Tread is specially designed for off-road use and can handle everything the elements throw at it. It is IP67 rated for water resistance.
Clear display
This GPS has a very bright and glove-friendly 10" touchscreen and is designed to be easily read in bright sunlight or pitch black. It can be mounted in portrait or landscape position.
Joint navigation
The navigator Tread has Turn-by-Turn track navigation for driving on dirt roads and trails with map content for adventure roads and trails based on OSM.
Built-in INREACH technology
Built-in inReach technology offers global satellite communication, two-way texting, location sharing, and interactive SOS and weather updates.
Maps for roads and terrain
Tread includes preloaded topographic maps with 3D terrain and road maps for Europe, Africa including Tracks4Africa and the Middle East. It also contains detailed road maps of Europe with customized routing for vehicle size and weight 2 . Maps of North and South America, Australia and New Zealand can be downloaded free of charge via garmin.com/express.
Satellite images
Get vivid aerial views when you download high-resolution BirdsEye satellite imagery directly to your device via Wi-Fi® connection, with no subscription required.
Find places of interest
Tread comes with iOverlander Points of Interest, ACSI™, Campercontact™ and Trailer's PARK™ so you don't need mobile coverage to get to the most established and remote campsites.
ABC sensors
When you're driving in tougher terrain, the built-in sensors come in handy - including altimeter, barometer, compass and slope/degree meter.
Secure attachment
Use the included bracket with magnetic lock to attach your GPS to the vehicle.
